CNBM Participates in UK-China Business Leaders Meeting in Beijing

On January 29, the UK-China Business Leaders Meeting was held in Beijing. The meeting brought together more than 110 representatives from Chinese and British companies and institutions to discuss investment cooperation and business collaboration between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Chinese Premier Li Qiang and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, both of whom delivered remarks. Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of China National Building Material Group (CNBM), was invited to attend the meeting and deliver remarks on China-UK investment cooperation.
Zhou noted that CNBM, a global manufacturer of non-metallic materials and an industrial investment group, has maintained long-term cooperation with partners in the United Kingdom. He said the company will continue to expand collaboration with British partners in areas including technological research and development, supply chain cooperation, industrial investment and financial cooperation.
He added that CNBM is committed to exploring opportunities in local markets in the UK, strengthening its presence in China, and jointly developing third-party markets.
The UK-China Business Leaders Committee was established in January 2018 and is coordinated by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the UK Department for Business and Trade. It serves as a platform for dialogue between business leaders from both countries and promotes practical cooperation in trade and investment.
